1. Complete an entry form in-store with any purchase of $40 or more and go in the draw to win the
Prize (“Promotion”).

2. Each qualifying purchase qualifies for one entry to the Promotion. There are no restrictions as to the
number of entries you may have into this Promotion.

3. The Promotion commences on 4 November 2023 and closes on 3 December 2023 ("Promotion
Period"). Entries are strictly valid on purchases between these dates only. Entries are deemed to be
received at the time of purchase by completing an entry form and placing it in the in-store entry box.

4. Receipts used for entry into the competition must be retained in order to claim the Prize and are void
if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
PRIZE:

5. All entries go in the draw to win one (1) Weber BBQ (SKU 2016388, Weber Family Q Plus 3100N+ BBQ
LPG Black. Includes cart. Does not include LPG gas bottle or any other accessories included). Valued at
RRP $1079 (“Prize”).

6. There are forty-two (42) prizes to be won. 1 x Prize per store. Entries are valid for the store in which
the purchase occurred.

7. The Prize handover will take place at the Winner’s local Hammer Hardware store as advised to the
Winner by the Promoter and at a time agreeable by all parties. The handover is complete when the
Prize is in the Winner’s possession.
WINNERS:

8. “Winner(s)” is defined as the persons whose names are drawn in the prize draws held on 5 December
2023 (“Prize Draw”).

PRIZE DRAWS:

9. The Prize Draws are conducted by each Hammer Hardware store. Each store will randomly draw a
winner. The first eligible entry in each of the 42 stores will be deemed a Winner.

10. The Winners will be contacted by the Promoter with the details provided to them via the in-store
entry form within seven (7) days of the prize draw.

11. If the Promoter is unable to contact the Winner by 18 December 2023, Hammer Hardware may
conduct an Unclaimed Prize Draw on 19 December 2023.

12. The Unclaimed Prize Draw Winner(s) will be contacted in accordance with clauses 10 and 11 within seven (7) days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw. The new Winner(s) will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition.

13. If no Winner is confirmed on or after 10 January 2023, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the
Prize.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

14. Information on how to enter and the prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which may be
amended or modified by the Promoter from time to time.

15. Charge accounts, trade accounts or special quotations purchases are not eligible for this Promotion.

16. The Promoter is not responsible if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details registered
on the in-store entry form.

17. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New
Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of the Promoter, Mitre 10 (New Zealand)
Limited, any Hammer Hardware and Mitre 10 store or their immediate families and (iii) are not a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such an employee; and (iv) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.

18. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and Eligible Entrants
(including an entrant’s identity, receipt details from the qualifying purchase, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a redemption that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the redemption process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

19. The Promoter’s decision is final on any matter, and no correspondence will be entered into.

20. All other expenses incurred with any part of the prize are the responsibility of the Winner.

21. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, Hammer Hardware Limited (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions of Entry; € any tax liability incurred by a claimant or Entrant; or (f) use of a prize.

22. Prior to receiving the Prize and being declared a Winner, the entrant may be required to show proof
of identity and to sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement that accepts the terms
relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter and related parties from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prize.

23. By accepting a prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, town/city and
photograph for publicity purposes strictly relating to this Promotion, including public relations and
marketing material, in any form of media, as carried out by the Promoter and/or its advertising and
promotional agencies, without payment or any other compensation.

24. The Winners consent to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter’s database for
purposes of this Promotion. The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct
the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this

Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy

25. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel any aspect of this promotion (including
any prize or term) at any time in its sole discretion.

26. The “Promoter” is Hammer Hardware Limited.
